BASIC RESPONSE TO GRAIN HANDLING HAZARDS

This is a one-day course with 4 hours of instruction and 4 hours of hands-on activities. Hazard

Communication for Grain Handling Facilities Operations will give participants the ability to

recognize the hazards associated with grain bins and facilities. This knowledge is essential for the

safety of both, the personnel who may respond to an emergency and for the public who may be

involved in the emergency of the event. This course is designed to provide generalized information

for the participants, as well as some basic skills needed to navigate in a grain-handling

environment.
